University of Canberra

It is a public university with its main campus located in Bruce, Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory.

The campus is 2.5 km (1.6 miles) from the Belconnen town center and 8.7 km (5.4 miles) from Canberra’s Civic Center. The University of Canberra offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across five faculties: Arts and Design; Business, Government, and Law; Education; Health; and Science and Technology.

The University of Canberra was first established in 1967 as the Canberra College of Advanced Education.

It then became the University of Canberra under the sponsorship of Monash University in 1990.
